I've said this before: I love old photographs. The really
ancient ones are black and white which allows endless interpretation, but sometimes it's just nice to leave things in that "limited palette" kind of feel.
A couple of months ago I came across this photo of "tea-time", probably taken in the late 1800s. I'm guessing the woman is part of the staff at some house
or institution, judging by her attire. I would also have to guess at the reason for her wonderful mirth, and hence, I have shifted the colour, details, and
added the "unexpected guests". What a surprise!
