Suggested subject: "Joy"
Experimenting, experimenting... Seems to me I did the jumping and laughing thing a couple of years ago in cartoon form, so I thought it might be nice to do something different. I am into hugs these days. I have at least three paintings planned that involve hugs, (but I'll space them out so nobody will die of happiness and good will). I did a couple of surface samplers involving Terraskin and watercolour and clear gesso but I'm going to let those percolate a while. This little sketch was done with the same mediums as a base, but on watercolour paper with conté. Approximately 11½" x 7".
