THIRTY DAY DRAWING CHALLENGE Day 26 - January 27

Suggested subject: "Water"
I feel like I've run a marathon. Tonight I did a little acrylic sketch on the suggested topic of "Water". I have four gazillions pictures of water and it took me half the day to decide which one would cause me the least grief and then discover that grief was already on the menu for today. I don't do many landscapes or seascapes and it's good for me to get some more practise... loosening up and making better colour choices or whatever. Or simply finding the wherewithal not to feed my current canvas to the goats. The reference for this one was taken from a sailboat off Goose Spit; I believe it's the cadets getting their training in small catamarans. Acrylic on board; approximately 10¾" x 10¾".

I'm looking to raise a few dollars for the local Arts Council (Facebook #cv30ddc2020), so if it takes your fancy, I'll be offering this and all ensuing 30-day drawings for auction on my home Facebook page, @sandralambartwork; starting bid $15 (cheap!!!).
If you would like to bid on this piece you must do so through Facebook at my page so click here: sandralambartwork. Bids are open for one week after each drawing is posted and I will do a regular recap of posted bids in case I miss someone.
